California State University, East Bay (Cal State East Bay) invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for the position of Vice President for Enrollment and Student Affairs (VPEMSA).
Reporting to the President, the VPEMSA is the senior administrator responsible for providing executive guidance, direction, and policy formation for the Enrollment Management and Student Affairs Division and serves on the President’s Cabinet. The VPEMSA is expected to take office in January 2026.

With a student population of about 13,000, the institution has a satellite campus in Concord, and a significant presence online. The University’s students arrive predominantly from Alameda and Contra Costa Counties, and more than 60% are first-generation college students. Serving on the President’s leadership team, the incoming VPEMSA has the primary leadership role for enrollment management services, developing a comprehensive enrollment management plan that supports overall institutional strategic goals and leads to an integrated recruitment and admissions effort. This position is also responsible for all aspects of a comprehensive student life program and works collaboratively with senior administrators, student leaders, faculty, and staff to create a campus environment that contributes positively to the overall student experience. This administrator fosters student learning in all dimensions of student life and has a strong commitment to diversity and a student-centered philosophy.

- D. or Ed.D. in a closely related field.
- At least eight (8) years of increasingly responsible senior administrative experience in student affairs and/or enrollment management in higher education.
